Happy October, everyone!
For me, October signals that the holiday season is just around the corner and it’s time to start prepping. And while I absolutely love the holidays and look forward to this time of year, there’s also no question that it can be a lot.
I find that the best way to make sure the holidays are fun and a time of rejuvenation is to make sure that I don’t have too much on my plate. This might mean doing some extra work ahead of time, so that I have some free time to enjoy with friends and family when we get together. Sometimes it means evaluating my priorities and deciding what can wait. And sometimes it means reaching out for help.
With so much busyness about to begin, now is the perfect time to take a moment and evaluate your upcoming schedule—both personal and business. Are there things you can do now to make your life easier in the upcoming months? Is there anything you could use some help with?
How RedFox Blogging Can Help You Prepare for the Holidays
I like to use these next six weeks or so to help clients prepare so they can sail through the holidays smoothly. For new clients, this usually means getting our workflow figured out and all the paperwork out of the way so I can take care of their blog while they’re busy making Christmas special for their family. For established clients, I like to batch their content so that they don’t have to think about their blog at all in December. And of course, if they have something special they need written for the holidays, like a New Year’s newsletter, I love working on those kinds of projects too!
So, as we gear up for the holidays, this is just a friendly reminder to take care of yourself by looking ahead and doing some planning so that you can end 2024 on a high note and be feeling refreshed and ready to go next year.
